Joins Other Networking Groups for Summer Socials

Women
in International Trade (WIIT) paired up with two other networking groups for
some social networking opportunities this summer.
WIIT joined Washington Network Group (WNG) for a July event at the Aria Trattoria Restaurant. Framed as a "Networking Reception for International Trade & Business Professionals," the event drew a good mix of professionals in both the international trade and business communities. After the event, several members of WNG asked to learn more about WIIT.
In August, WIIT joined the Washington International Trade Association (WITA) at the Tuscana West Restaurant for a Summer Networking Social. More than 100 people from the International Trade Community turned out for the event. WIIT member attendance was strong, showing their strong skills in networking.
WIIT will continue to have more networking opportunities throughout theyear. With a brown bag lunch being planned on networking as well as membership socials and some more relaxed happy hours, we are looking forward to a great year of networking and socializing.
