Challenge Accepted:  WIIT's 2021 International Women's Day Event

2020 was challenging for everyone, but it's women around the world - in economies of every size - who bore the brunt of the economic and social fallout of the pandemic.

We chose to mark International Women's Day 2021 by recording first person stories, from Gaza to Guatemala, about the unique obstacles women face as well as creative solutions deployed by organizations and governments to help empower women economically. We were also honored to support girls of color in the Washington DC area through a donation to Crittenton Services of Greater Washington.
