Agriculture, Energy & Environment
Feeding, powering, and sheltering a world in a sustainable fashion is truly a global effort. Our program section sponsors discussions on the multitude of factors shaping the ever-evolving world of agriculture and energy trade and the implications of policies emerging around the world aimed at combatting the effects of climate change.
Discussions are diverse and include a fresh look at how policies and movements in agriculture, energy and the environment at home and abroad affect the trade landscape, and vice versa. Past programming topics have included:
- International market challenges for specialty crops
- UN food security and environment
- Carbon border fees
- Global energy transition
