Tech & Digital Trade
The Tech & Digital Trade Program Section focuses on issues affecting the digital economy, including trade in digital goods and services, and how emerging technology influences global trade and supply chains. The committee examines a variety of topics including:
Key barriers to trade in digital goods and services and the policy frameworks needed to promote open and secure digital trade;
How digital trade and digitally-supported trade drive economic growth, foster inclusion, and contribute to sustainable development across borders and sectors; and
How rapid advances in technology like artificial intelligence are transforming cross-border digital trade and the evolving physical, digital, and regulatory infrastructure required to sustain it.
