Supply Chains

The supply chain program section focuses on timely issues impacting all aspects of the supply chain — from customs and tariff matters to transportation logistics, reshoring or securing manufacturing, as well as the impacts global pandemics, disasters, and the global order can have on critical supply chains. The section produces events featuring issue stakeholders, policy experts, legal practitioners, and representatives from U.S. regulatory agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies involved in regulating imports. Recent programs hosted or co-hosted by the supply chain section have focused on changes to rules of origin following the implementation of USMCA, forced labor issues, and the protection and promotion of women’s rights under U.S. trade preference programs.
