Amb. Yuri Kim, Senior Director for International Government Relations, ExxonMobil

Ambassador Yuri Kim is Senior Director for International Government Relations at ExxonMobil, with focus on Europe and the Eurasia region.

Ambassador Kim joined ExxonMobil in 2025 after three decades as an American diplomat, in which capacity she worked on key foreign policy and national security challenges across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. With deep experience and access in Washington and other capitals, Ambassador Kim is noted as an effective advocate for U.S. interests in energy, defense, technology, infrastructure, and other geostrategic sectors. She was Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs from 2023 to 2025, providing executive management and policy leadership for approximately 12,00 staff in Washington and 81 posts throughout Europe and Eurasia, and directing a base budget of $400 million and over $100 billion in foreign assistance. Before that, she was Ambassador to the Republic of Albania from 2020 to 2023, nominated by President Trump and continuing under President Biden. In addition to numerous assignments in Washington, she served at the U.S. Embassies in Turkey, Iraq, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and China. Yuri Kim holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Phil. from Cambridge University. She grew up on the island of Guam.

Veronica Nigh, Senior Economist, The Fertilizer Institute

Veronica Nigh joined The Fertilizer Institute as Senior Economist in December 2023. She previously served as a Senior Economist at the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) and an International Economist at the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service. Veronica grew up in agriculture in the Show-Me state. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with minors in Political Science and International Agriculture from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in Economics from American University.

Andrea Yi Shan Yang, Deputy Representative  of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO)

Andrea Yi Shan Yang is the Deputy Representative  of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO). Prior to her current role, Ms Yang served as Deputy Secretary-General and Acting Secretary-General of Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), appointed by Chairperson Lai Ching-te. Ms Yang was also the former Director of Press & Information for DPP, responsible for external communications. Ms Yang previously worked in various governmental positions, including high ranked positions in the Ministry of Culture, Taichung’s Bureau of Cultural Affairs, the Parliament, and served at Office of the President in 2007. Andrea graduated from Australia National University, she was a British Chevening Scholar winner, and obtained her Master Degree of Politics and International Affairs from Royal Holloway College, University of London.

Nisha Biswal is a Partner at The Asia Group and a leading voice on economic and geopolitical trends in South Asia and the broader Indo-Pacific, bringing more than 30 years of experience across U.S. foreign policy, international trade, economic development, government, and the private sector. Most recently, she served as Deputy CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, following senior leadership roles at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she led the U.S.-India Business Council and U.S.-Bangladesh Business Council. Her prior government service includes serving as Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, as well as senior roles at USAID and on Capitol Hill. She currently serves on the board of Excelerate Energy and is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she studied international relations and economics.
